Haven Heights Baptist Church upholds the Baptist Faith & Message 2000
Our Gathering
The worship experience at Haven Heights reflects the hopeful message of the gospel we believe. This gospel is the good news that Jesus died for our sins, was raised in victory over death, and secures eternal life with God, as well as giving us a renewed life on earth.
- We meet to hear God’s Word read and preached.
- We meet to sing God-centered songs, which include both hymns and modern worship songs.
- We meet to connect with and encourage one another.
- We meet so that we are better equipped to reach the world with this good news.
Our services last about an hour. We have a nursery with a trained staff for ages 0-4. All are welcome and we would love for you to join us.

Our Values
We believe God is the creator (Genesis 1:1), the sustainer (Hebrews 1:3) and the redeemer (Isaiah 47:4).
We believe that Jesus Christ is Son of God, and displays the glory of God as a human being (John 1:14).
We believe that the greatest display of God’s glory on earth is shown at the cross of Christ. There, Jesus died for our sins showing mercy for sinners and, at the same time God executed holy justice for our sins (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Because of who God is we believe He is worthy of our worship, worthy of our lives, and worthy of all that we have.
We believe that God’s people are to live out faith in community Acts 2:42-47).
We believe that our presence and participation in church encourages mutual faith (Hebrews 10:25)
We believe that our care and concern for one another is an extension of God’s care and concern for us (2 Corinthians 1:3-5).
We believe that church membership is a commitment to God, and to one another (Acts 2:41).
Because God desires us to do life together, we encourage church membership, and practice care for one another.
We believe that God’s desire is for all men to know God and to worship God (1 Timothy 2:4).
We believe that God has called us to share the good news of Jesus, with our neighbors, our friends, our family, and around the world (Acts 1:8).
We believe that God wants our best, and that our best life is found in a life with Him at the center (John 10:10).
Because God has a heart for the world, we encourage one another to share our faith with others, and we partner with mission agencies around the world.
We believe the Bible is God’s divinely inspired word (1 Peter 2:21).
We believe the Bible is how we know God and how we know what he requires of us (2 Timothy 3:16).
We believe that the Bible is God’s instrument for changing lives (Romans 10:17).
We believe all Scripture points to the person and work of Jesus on the cross (Luke 24:27).
Because the Bible is God’s word, we preach the Bible, read the Bible, and sing the Bible in our gatherings.
